Ceremony and Reception.
We will exchange vows on the esplanade overlooking the river at the Hotel Gran Jimenoa in Jarabacoa, Dominican Republic. The bilingual ceremony will begin promptly at 5:30 PM and will last about 30 minutes.
From 6-7 PM, we will have an outdoor sunset cocktail hour. The reception will begin at 7 PM in the Salon Gran Jimenoa (located beside the courtyard garden), where a buffet dinner will be served. If you have specific dietary restrictions, please let us know. Outdoor dancing, games, drinks, and some more dancing will follow!
What To Wear.
When picking out your outfit, consider the cool mountain breeze in the evening. Though it's a summer wedding in the Caribbean, a light jacket or shawl may come in handy. We suggest the following semi-formal guidelines:
Ladies - A cocktail dress, long dress, or dressy suit would be appropriate. Bright colors are encouraged. No flip-flops, cotton beach dresses or jeans.
Gentlemen - A blazer and tie are encouraged. No flip-flops, sneakers, polo shirts or jeans.
